Hi, I'm Grant.
I'm broadly interested in exploring the quantitative models that help explain how and why living systems work. Naturally, this has made me curious about the intersection between biology and physics, especially in the contexts of biophysics and mathematical biology. These interests have motivated me to pursue a major in Physics and a minor in Biology at the University of Virginia where I am a second-year undergraduate. I hope to attend graduate school for applied physics or biophysics so that I can leverage tools from mathematics, physics, biology, and computer science to learn more about the world in an interdisciplinary fashion. Outside of science, I am also enthusiastic about engaging myself with philosophy, politics, literature, and studying Middle Eastern and South Asian cultures and histories.
