My Research

I am an undergraduate researcher at the Levental Lab at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, where I perform experimental membrane biophysics research. My research involves investigating the physical properties of the plasma membrane to learn more about its structure, function, and interaction with membrane proteins, which account for more than 60% of human drug targets. Currently, I am working on developing a toolbox of nanotechnologies that can be used to probe membrane nanoenvironments and measure their biophysical properties.
